Summer or Winter
There are many things to do on the mountain in the summer and the winter. Summer activities include hiking, high alpine skiing, rock-climbing, mountain-biking, and sightseeing.
Whistler and Blackcomb Mountains offer extensive summer alpine programs that include mountaintop dining, hiking, sightseeing and more.
Ride high tech lifts to the wonderful alpine world where, high above the Village on Whistler Mountain, you can enjoy a leisurely stroll through alpine meadows bursting with wildflowers; hike marked trails that lead to serene alpine lakes; experience guided mountain bike descents 4,000 vertical feet to the Valley below.
Winter activities include downhill skiing, cross country skiing, snowshoeing, snowmobiling, and dog-sledding and ski-dooing.
Twelve magnificent bowls, three glaciers and more than 200 marked trails - steep powder chutes, challenging mogul fields, secluded tree skiing and groomed-to-perfection cruising runs- offer skiers and snowboarders endless enjoyment.
Experience the tranquillity of cross country skiing under starry skies; enjoy a spectacular ride on Whistler Mountain´s fully enclosed gondola or on one of Blackcomb´s express quad chairs for a day of mountaintop sightseeing; try paragliding and take off from a glacier and soar high above the snow-covered runs; go for an exhilarating snowmobile adventure off the beaten track.
