The Ultimate in Mountain Learning. Nobody knows snow like our pros. Our Ski & Snowboard School is made up of over 1200 snow junkies from around the world. Past lives include Bay Street Lawyer, Rocket Scientist, Sex Therapist, Film-maker and World Cup Racers; all inextricably linked by a love of these mountains, a passion for snow sports and a compelling desire to share their experience with you.
With your own certified Pro, you set the improvement goals, choose the terrain, and set the pace. We offer private lessons that cater to a variety of different languages. Private lessons can be booked for one to five people of similar ability. You will get personal service, undivided attention, lift line priority and more.
Daily Improvement Ski Workshops & Mountain Top Riding Clinics
For intermediate to advanced skiers on Whistler Mountain. No matter what your specialty, our instructors can help you improve your skiing. Ski better and discover our mountains together with new friends and North America′s best Ski Pros. We offer special lesson themes including our Monday and Wednesday video analysis workshops.
Learn to Ride
The unique teaching approach keeps you moving as you progress from sliding to turning. The Learn to Ride program uses specifically designed Burton Boards* and the lessons take place on the gently sloped beginner areas. You will learn to snowboard in a fun and relaxed environment with the most inspiring instructors. For the best results, take three days in a row.

Learn to Ski
The beginner′s program makes learning the sport of skiing easier and more fun than ever! Learn to Ski uses specially designed Rossignol Short Cut Skis. The skis are short for easy handling, shaped for easy turning, and wide for increased stability and confidence. You will learn to ski in a relaxed environment with the most inspiring instructors. For the best first-time results, join the three-day program for a learning experience you will never forget.
Ski & Ride Esprit
"Improve while you move" in Whistler Blackcomb′s popular mountain exploration program. Join us for 3 or 4 days of mountain guiding, instruction, and fun. The program includes video analysis, a fun race, line priority, après receptions and lots of mileage. This is the perfect program for any level.
Atomic Dave Murray Ski Camp
These 3-day camps are designed for confident intermediate, advanced, and expert skiers whose focus is technique improvement.
Gate train with the industry′s very best ski coaches at the Whistler Race Centre, our private hill space location, utilizing the latest in Atomic demo skis and on hill video analysis. As you hone your technique, our coaches will work with you to apply these skills in our big mountain skiing environment. The best way to improve your skiing quickly - we guarantee it!
Three day camps run every Monday - Wednesday from mid-December to mid-April (ask about our additional dates over holiday periods) and include continental breakfast, slope-side refreshments, prizes, and après parties.
Women′s All-Star Snowboard Camp
These 2-Day camps are coached by women for women. All levels of snowboard enthusiasts will find themselves improving beyond expectations. The camp includes guided instruction, video analysis, après reception, equipment session, prizes and tons of fun in a relaxed and supportive environment.
Extremely Canadian Free-skiing Clinics
Whistler Blackcomb is a freeskiing mecca with almost limitless possibilities for adventurous skiers, but it takes a local′s knowledge to really get the most out of this immense winter playground.
Extremely Canadian Freeskiing Clinics are not only about improving and refining your off-piste technique, but also about helping you find wickedly challenging terrain and optimal snow conditions.
Our clinics are geared to adventurous, advanced/intermediate to expert skiers. Skiers are placed in small groups of similar ability, optimal for honing your skills, which combined with a serious amount of vertical, guarantees improvement and an unforgettable ski experience.
Clinics include perks such as lift-line priority, T-shirt, video analysis and a decompression session at Merlin′s Bar and Grill.
2-Day clinics run three times a week on Saturday/Sunday, Monday/Tuesday, and Thursday/Friday.
Gatebusters Gate Training
Gatebusters is a no-frills gate-training program for skiers with previous gate experience. Join long-time professional coaches Tom Prochazka and David Traynor and their team of dedicated coaches - drop in for a day or purchase a pass for unlimited training.

Having one of the best kids programs in the world has one drawback - the programs do fill up. Advance registration is strongly recommended to avoid disappointment.
Infant and Toddler Care for 3 - 36 Month Olds
If they′re not quite ready for skis, leave the tiniest member of your family with our fully qualified child care specialists. Our licensed, professional facility offers parents peace of mind during their day on the slopes.
Children of 3-6 Years
These children get the basics of skiing with an emphasis on mountain fun, games and loads of laughs on specially designed children′s terrain.
Children of 7-12 Years
This daily program for skiers and riders provides everything from the basics to the terrain park to all over exploration. Designed for all ability levels.
Teens of 13 - 17 Years
Our youth programs are for skiers, or riders of any ability level who are aged 13 to 17. Led by pros who know our mountains inside out and still remember what it feels like to be a teen, our programs are all about putting in lots of mileage while having fun with other teens. For those looking to form their own group of up to 5 students, or for one-on-one coaching, try our private lessons.
Private Kids & Teens Lessons
For individual attention, accelerated learning, high comfort levels and flexible schedules there's no better way than on-on-one. Our top instructors will custom-design a program for your child or your own group of up to five children of similar abilities. Skiing and snowboarding lessons available for all abilities, ages 3 to 17 years.
Adventure Camp
Our five day Adventure Camp is Whistler Kids' most popular program. Five days with the same instructor and the same group makes for fast friendships, excellent skill progression and tons of fun - a total mountain experience.
The Adventure Camp′s special weekly themes and activities are so much fun that kids have a problem leaving. We solved the problem with a special Kids' Après to ease them out of their adventure and back home.
Ski Passes
All lift tickets are fully interchangeable between Whistler and Blackcomb Mountains. The ski tickets are divided into seasons and the day on which your first day of skiing begins is the price that will be applied.
For example, if you arrived on 24 December and your first day of skiing was 25 December, then the Early Season pricing would apply.

Snow Shoeing Rentals and Tours
Snowshoeing is probably the easiest snow sport to learn, and it is enjoyed by all ages and physical activity levels. A great way to explore the backwoods trails or the fresh snowfall. The trails are teaming with birdlife and other forms of wildlife. Snowshoeing around Green Lake to the Old Town of Parkhurst is a popular tour. Hot apple cider and a warm fire awaits you back at the Teepee.
Cross Country Skiing
Enjoy the beauty and silence of the forest in winter. We are located adjacent to Whistler´s cross country ski trails. With over 30 km of groomed and track set trails suited to nordic skiers of all ability levels.
Ice Skating
Bring back the memories of your childhood days ice skating on a frozen lake. We can arrange day time or night time skating under the lights. Warm up with a hot drink afterwards. Flawless skating ability is not required, but the knack to negotiate flawed (rippled, bumpy, cracked and uneven) ice with good humour is important.
Winter Fishing
With Jumping Jim´s Fishing School. Salmon fish the lower elevation rivers till mid January, Rainbow Trout and Dolly Varden also caught in the same rivers. View Bald Eagles in the highest concentration in the world on your tour. When the lakes freeze over to safe levels, we can arrange you ice fishing via snowshoes to spectacular Alpine lakes containing Brook Trout, Cutthroat Trout and Rainbow Trout. Spring time we fish for Steelheads. All fishing equipment provided, lunch supplied on full day trips, dress warm.
