There´s something life-affirming about jingling along on an open sleigh pulled by two wacking big horses. There may be several hundred horses in your favourite braggin’ wagon back home, but it only takes two horses to take you along for a memorable quiet mountain trail journey through old growth forest to a rustic cabin in the woods where rugged local cowboys spin yarns and encourage everyone to sing along around an open campfire. There are no playstations or internet hookups at this cabin, but families especially seem to have a dandy time with nothing more hi-tech than a steaming cup of hot chocolate. The night tours are magical, offering a spectacular view of the twinkling lights of Whistler Village from on high.
Sleigh ride with entertainment show
Sleigh ride out to our rustic cabin for a hot chocolate by a roaring fire. Here a cowboy entertainer puts on a singing show with western stories and winter or Christmas songs.

Dinner and a sleigh ride
Sleigh ride around Green Lake to classy Joel´s Restaurant for a gourmet feast including hot drinks, salad, cheese fondue, chinose fondue (with beef, pork, and prawns), dessert and tea or coffee.

Horse-drawn Sleigh Rides
Tour through the snow-covered forest and along the shores of spectacular Green Lake. Traditional sleighs are equipped with warm blankets and bench seating for your comfort. Finish off back at lakeside log cabin for a hot chocolate or hot apple cider in front of the fire. Customized group events with entertainer available upon request.

Sleigh Ride Fondue
A majestic team of draft horses will announce their presence with sleighbells ringing in the air, picking you up from the prestigious Nicklaus North golf course. Half way through the tour we will stop at the lakeside log cabin for a hot chocolate or hot apple cider, before our sleigh proceeds back to Joel´s Restaurant. Inside this warm and welcoming lakefront 200-seat restaurant, you will be greeted with a hot gluhwine, followed by a traditional Swiss cheese fondue with cubed baguette, cold cuts platter and fresh vegetables for dipping. The dinner continues with a Fondue “Chinoise”, a bouillon base fondue served with fresh beef strips, pork tenderloin and prawns, accompanied by a selection of exotic sauces. The meal finishes off with the chef´s choice of dessert, coffee or tea.

Sleigh Ride A´ La Carte
This wonderful tour includes an opportunity to experience the stunning, lakeside retreat of Edgewater Lodge with its exclusive 40-seat intimate restaurant. A team of Belgian draft horses awaits you at the Edgewater Outdoor Centre on the shores of Green Lake. The sleigh ride takes you through the snow-covered forest and along the shores of the lake before finishing off with a hot chocolate or hot spiced cider in front of the crackling fire in our log cabin, steps away from your mouth-watering dinner. The A´ La Carte menu includes an appetizer salad along with an assortment of breads. The entree´ consists of your choice of boneless baked chicken breast infused with pistachio-camembert, sundried tomatoes and a pesto vinaigrette, or a fresh fillet of BC salmon, pan seared with lime and herbs, and served with a feather light sauce béarnaise. A dessert of the day will conclude your experience, along with tea or coffee.

Enjoy a traditional West Coast bbq salmon diner with rice or baked potato, salad, desert and coffee. You will love the ambiance of the rustic cabin in the woods. Private Sleigh Rides
Groups can book a private sleigh ride if they pay for all the seats on the sleigh. Two sleighs hold 12 adults each or 8 adults and 6 youth. For couples (2 people) who want a private sleigh ride they would pay based on 4 people.
